After a couple of years of performing in a soul & blues party band, Chloë Beth Rogers and Archie Baker sat down to write their own blues and soul originals.

'Part of Me' is Baker and Rogers' collaborative take on traditional soul and blues, with smooth vocals, romanticised lyrics and a strong rhythm.
The song draws on traditional blues influences such Robert Cray, Dorothy Moore and Etta James; as well as modern soul influences including Joy Crookes, Michael Kiwanuka and Tom Misch.


Together, Baker and Rogers’ plan to write and record more modern soul and blues, utilising Chloë’s extraordinary vocals control and poetic lyricism; and Archie’s ear for melody and rhythm.
